EAMES HEADCANON FILE.


➝ His full name is: Daniel M. Eames.
➝ Family isn't aristocratic, but definitely old money. They had a sizable estate by the countryside and a swanky flat in London. Eames preferred the later. Eames grew up rich.
➝ Eames father was a businessman and his mother was a psychologist.
➝ Early signs of his gambling problem showed up when he took Gold Fish a bit too seriously and got into a row over 'Old Maid' in Kindergarden.
➝ He's a bit public school.
➝ He first started making some spare cash by forging signatures for people. By the start of freshman year, he could copy handwriting flawlessly.
➝ Eames is artistically inclined; but he cannot create. He can copy/trace really well. His medium of choice are ball point pens.
➝ He originally wanted to attend a Drama School and be an actor; he ended up taking something like Humanities instead.
➝ He ended up being the schools bookie regarding rugby games and sports. This then progressed into forming a sort of illegal poker-club.
➝ He dropped out due to lack of interest, went through his Holden Caulfield phase.
➝ Father pushed him into the army to get him to shape up.
➝ TRAINING MONTAGGGEEEEE. Eames smarmy intelligent face and the fact he enjoys guns gets him to pull up in rank a bit.
➝ Gets Recruited to project Somnacin.
➝ He first uses it as an extension for his desire to act; eventually he discovers the ability of /forging/.
➝ He doesn't see the purpose of it apart from having a good laugh and trolling all his military friends by becoming a shapely blonde.
➝ Meets Arthur. Tries to constantly one-up him. Eames has a crush on Arthur's skinny ass.
➝ Catches wind of people dabbling in extraction; suddenly this becomes srs bzns.
➝ Steals a PASIV from the military and gets involved with shadier people.
➝ He meets Mal first, and is Mal's friend. He may have once drunkenly copped a feel; but in his defense this was before she was married to Dom.
➝ He's actually gambled most of his inheritance out; so any wealth he's managed is from doing jobs.
➝ His favorite game is Poker with Roulette coming in close second.
➝ Eames fucking loves Mombasa okay. He's got a flat there as well as Cape Cod and Kenya. He's also really fond of obscure Asian places like Laos and Cambodia. Eames is a traveller.
➝ Eames has been banned from half of the Strip in Vegas. He's also accidentally married a stripper under Yusuf's name. He'd rather not talk about it.
➝ Ariadne is one of his favorite human beings.
➝ Yusuf is his bffs.
➝ Eames has considered it too dangerous to keep in contact with his parents and mailed them a forged Obit. He also payed a girl to give them a sob ridden phone call.
➝ He doesn't own as much obscene pattern as he lets on; but he likes wearing it when Arthur's around.
➝ He never wants to work with Cobb again. Ever.
➝ He has a shit ton of aliases.
➝ Pick pocketing Fischer has become a hobby. He did it quite a bit while investigating Browning. Fischer is on his fifth wallet by the time of the first dream level.
